This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Elevated fire danger is expected this afternoon across
the southeast panhandle into southwest Nebraska. Minimum relative
humidity will fall below 20 percent with northwest winds of 10 to
20 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

Elevated fire danger is expected Tuesday afternoon across the
central Sandhills into southwest Nebraska, or for areas near and
south of Highways 2 and 91. Minimum relative humidity will fall
below 20 percent with west winds of 15 to 25 mph.

A winter storm system will affect the region Thursday into
Friday. This could bring rain, accumulating snow, and gusty
winds. However, there is uncertainty in the strength and track of
the storm so stay tuned for further updates regarding this winter
system.
