This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this evening affecting the
western Sandhills around Mullen and areas north of Ogallala. The
risk of severe weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

Heat wave conditions may develop Tuesday. The area of concern is
around Ainsworth and Valentine where heat indices may exceed 100.

Strong or severe thunderstorms could form across Northern Nebraska
late Tuesday afternoon. The area of concern is generally along and
north of highway 20. Large hail, locally heavy rainfall and wind
damage are the severe weather hazard.

Otherwise isolated to scattered thunderstorm activity will be
possible from time to time this upcoming week. At this time the
threat for organized severe storms is low.
