THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

COLD AIR BEHIND AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL COMBINE WITH BREEZY WINDS TO
CREATE BELOW ZERO WIND CHILLS EARLY THIS MORNING. TONIGHT..THERE
IS A THREAT OF LIGHT SNOW ACROSS SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE OR TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHWEST
NEBRASKA BEFORE DAY BREAK WEDNESDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

LIGHT SNOW WILL LINGER THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS WEDNESDAY ACROSS
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR LESS
WILL BE POSSIBLE. A SECONDARY ARCTIC FRONT WILL CROSS THE
SANDHILLS REGION AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA ON WEDNESDAY. WITH COLD
ARCTIC AIR IN PLACE...WIND CHILLS WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY MORNING
WILL FALL TO 5 TO 15 BELOW ZERO...WHILE WIND CHILLS ON THURSDAY
MORNING WILL BOTTOM OUT BETWEEN 10 AND 20 BELOW ZERO.

WITH THE ARRIVAL OF THE ARCTIC AIR, THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL
FOR ICE JAMMING ON AREA RIVERS. THOSE WITH LOCATIONS NEAR AREA
RIVERS WILL NEED TO MONITOR THESE LOCATIONS.
