This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Scattered thunderstorms this evening and into the early morning
hours will occur across portions of north central Nebraska for
area east of Mullen through Valentine Brief heavy rain and gusty
winds to 50 mph will be the main concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

Saturday night, there is a threat for isolated strong to briefly
severe storms in southwest Nebraska north into the central
Sandhills. On Sunday the threat shifts eastward with strong to
briefly severe storms possible mainly east of highway 83.

Thunderstorms continue to be possible Monday night then again on
Wednesday. However, the severe threat for early next week is low
at this time.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
