This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon and early
evening for areas generally east of a line from Cody through
Broken Bow. In these areas, northwest winds this afternoon will
range from 15 to 25 mph, with a few gusts up to 30 mph. With
minimum relative humidity falling to as low as 20 percent, any
fires which start could spread quickly. Outdoor burning should not
be undertaken.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

Extreme to near critical fire weather conditions are possible
Sunday afternoon in the western Sandhills and southwestern
Nebraska.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
