This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
There is a marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms along
and east of a line from Ainsworth to Broken Bow this evening. The
main severe weather threat will be damaging winds and large hail.
Additional thunderstorm development will be possible across the
eastern Panhandle as well as southwest Nebraska later this evening
and overnight, however widespread severe weather is not expected.

A cold front will gradually move south and east overnight. Strong
daytime heating and low level moisture will develop an unstable
atmosphere east of a line from Broken Bow to Ainsworth this
afternoon. Therefore any storms that develop there this afternoon
and evening will have the potential to produce large hail and
damaging winds. Further west this evening, additional showers and
storms will develop however the atmosphere will not be as
unstable.

Any storms that develop across the area late this afternoon and
this evening will have the potential to produce lightning. Those
with outdoor activities planned tonight should keep up to date on
thunderstorm development.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

Thunderstorms will be possible through the weekend as well
however the chances for severe weather is low at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
