This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and tonight across
the outlook area. A strong to severe storm is possible west of a
line from Hayes Center to Merriman. Large hail and damaging winds
will be the main severe threats. East of this line, the threat for
severe storms is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

Thunderstorms are possible Saturday night and Sunday night across
the outlook area. On Saturday night, there is a threat for severe
storms in portions of southwestern Nebraska, as well as the
central Sandhills. On Sunday the threat for severe storms will
shift east with the main threat east of highway 83. Thunderstorms
are possible Monday night and Tuesday night. At this time, the
severe threat early next week is low.

Spotter activation is not anticipated later today and tonight.
