This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Near critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon
across far southwestern Nebraska. Relative humidity will fall off
to the 15 to 20 percent range for a brief period late this
afternoon. Wind gusts may briefly reach 25 MPH as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

Through Wednesday, expect well above normal temperatures across
most of western and north central Nebraska. This will lead to
elevated fire weather conditions during the late afternoon hours
each day. The main area of concern is west of highway 83 from
Valentine to North Platte.

On Monday, a strong cold front will track through the outlook
area. Northwesterly winds Monday afternoon may gust up to 45 MPH.
