THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.
LIGHT SNOW WILL FALL OVER THE WESTERN NEBRASKA SANDHILLS AND
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA OVER NIGHT. AN INCH OF ACCUMULATION IS
EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A POWERFUL WINTER STORM WILL MOVE OUT OF THE 4 CORNERS AREA AND
ONTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS MONDAY. SNOW WILL BEGIN OVER THE SOUTHEAST
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA MONDAY MORNING AND
SPREAD NORTH AND EAST THROUGH THE NEBRASKA SANDHILLS THROUGH THE
DAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL TO THE SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 80 THROUGH THE NIGHT MONDAY. WIND IS EXPECTED TO BE
STRONG AND IS LIKELY TO CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING WHERE SNOW
ACCUMULATES. SOME UNCERTAINTY CONTINUES WITH THE TRACK OF THE
STORM SYSTEM. WINTER STORM WATCHES HAVE BEEN POSTED FOR PORTIONS
OF SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. IF YOU PLAN TO TRAVEL ACROSS NEBRASKA
MONDAY AND TUESDAY STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO AND LOCAL
RADIO AND TELEVISION FOR THE LATEST UPDATES.
