This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms east of a line
from Bassett to Broken Bow this evening. The main severe weather
threats would be damaging winds and large hail.

A stalled frontal boundary across north central into central
Nebraska will be the focus for widely scattered thunderstorm
development this evening. This boundary resides within an unstable
atmosphere so any storms that are able to develop this evening
will have the potential to become strong to severe, capable of
large hail and damaging winds.

Additional thunderstorms will be possible across the Panhandle and
into north central Nebraska this evening and overnight but
widespread severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible again Sunday night into
Monday, then again by mid week. The chances for widespread severe
weather is low at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
