After starting the weekend with a good amount of sunshine, clouds
were increasing across central and western Nebraska during the
afternoon especially south of Highway 2. This will remain the case
into tonight with a few showers also possible along and south of
Interstate 80. Sunday will feature a good deal of cloudiness with
scattered showers and thunderstorms midmorning onward, followed
by gradual improvement Sunday night into Monday. Lows tonight
will range from the mid 40s across the panhandle to the lower 50s
along and east of Highway 83. Highs Sunday will be in the 70s.
