...The National Weather Service in Lake Charles LA has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Louisiana...

  Calcasieu River Near Oakdale

For the Calcasieu River...including Glenmora, Oakdale, Oberlin,
Kinder, White Oak Park, Salt Water Barrier...Major flooding is
forecast.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued Saturday evening at 800 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oakdale.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding, mainly forested
  areas along the river will occur. Park and picnic ground off of
  Highway 10 begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Sunday morning and continue rising to a crest of 17.5
    feet Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
