FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.7 inches over northern Iowa will will weaken
to 29.8 inches as it lifts northeast to the Wisconsin/Upper
Peninsula border by 1 am tonight and northern Lake Superior by 7
am Friday. As the low passes west of Lake Michigan, winds will be
veering from the east this afternoon to the south tonight, then to
the west on Friday morning. Areas of fog will be possible from
late evening into Friday morning prior to winds shifting to the
west.

Lighter winds are expected Friday under high pressure of 30.0
inches. A cold front 29.9 inches will pass across Lake Michigan on
Saturday afternoon and evening before high pressure 30.0 inches
moves from Minnesota on Saturday night to northern Lake Michigan
on Sunday night. Winds will then likely be 15 knots or less
through the upcoming weekend.
