...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LOGAN...
NORTHWESTERN SIMPSON AND WESTERN WARREN COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM
CDT...

At 859 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southwest of Memphis Junction, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bowling Green, Crestmoor, Memphis Junction, Auburn, Woodburn, Barren
River, Rockfield, Rich Pond, South Union, and Browning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central Kentucky.
