Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 10Z, or 3 AM PST, a 1027 MB surface high
was centered 1100 NM west-southwest of Point Conception. Widespread
large seas and areas of gusty winds are expected into Thursday,
peaking Tuesday and Wednesday. North to east offshore winds will
develop Wednesday night into Thursday and may cause dangerous
conditions for the inner waters.
