Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 04Z, or 9 PM PST, a 1026 mb surface high was
centered 575 NM west-southwest of Point Conception. This high will
build toward the coast while strengthening to 1030 mb through
Wednesday. Widespread large seas and areas of gusty winds are
expected into Thursday, peaking Tuesday and Wednesday.
