...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN WARREN COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for southwestern
Illinois...and east central Missouri.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM CDT
FOR NORTHERN ST. CHARLES COUNTY...

At 443 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over St. Charles,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
O`Fallon, St. Charles, St. Peters, Maryland Heights, Hazelwood, Lake
St. Louis, Bridgeton, Dardenne Prairie, Weldon Spring, Cottleville,
St. Paul, Elsah, West Alton, Portage Des Sioux, Weldon Spring
Heights, Harvester, Orchard Farms, and Kampville.

This also includes Confluence State Park and First Missouri State
Capitol Historic Site.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 216 and 229.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for southwestern
Illinois...and east central Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
