ANZ899-200215- 1025 PM EDT Sat May 18 2024 .SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Broad low pressure over the northern waters, centered about 270 nm SE of Nantucket, will remain nearly stationary tonight and Sun, and then will move slowly E away from the area Sun night through Mon night. A stationary front extending E across the waters from the North Carolina coast will persist tonight into early Sun. A series of weak low pressure centers will form and move E along the boundary tonight through Mon. The front will move slowly S later Sun through Mon, and will pass S of the area Mon night and Tue while high pressure builds S into the northern waters. The high pressure ridge will slowly drift S and then E Tue night through Thu while weakening.
