...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following
  counties, Carlisle, Graves, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall and
  McCracken.

* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1052 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Paducah, Benton, Calvert City, Reidland, Hillman Ferry
    Campground, Birmingham Ferry Recreation Area, Demumbers Bay
    Campground, Land Between The Lakes Area, Kuttawa, Grand
    Rivers, Symsonia and Lowes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
