...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO MIDNIGHT
MDT WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 1 to 2 feet, with up to 3 feet on the peaks. Winds gusting
  as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to midnight MDT Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire
  chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry
  should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may
  want to consider alternate plans. Widespread blowing snow will
  significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could cause
  extensive damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibility will likely be worst between
  Sluice Boxes State Park and Monarch Canyon where winds tend to be
  strongest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with

MIDNIGHT MDT WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 2 and 6 in valleys and on foothills, with 6
  to 12 inches on mountain passes, and 1 to 2 feet possible above
  mountain pass level. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph may cause
  periods of whiteout conditions.

* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front,
  Snowy and Judith Mountains, and Big Belt, Bridger and Castle
  Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to midnight MDT Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible, and tire
  chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry

  the Bears Paw Mountains and Sweetgrass Hills. Winds gusting as
  high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Toole and Liberty Counties, and Bears Paw
  Mountains and Southern Blaine County.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Periods of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The combination of wet
  snow and strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines.

* WHERE...Cascade County below 5000ft, Fergus County below 4500ft,
  and Judith Basin County and Judith Gap.

* WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to noon MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Periods of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. The
  combination of wet snow and strong winds could cause damage to
  trees and power lines.

  inches on foothills, between 4 and 8 inches on mountain passes,
  and 8 to 16 inches above mountain pass level. Winds gusting as
  high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, Upper Blackfoot and
  MacDonald Pass, and Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and
  Centennial Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be
  required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure
