THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEASTERN WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE NEXT SYSTEM WILL CROSS THE REGION LATE TODAY INTO MONDAY
MORNING...BRINGING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE FORECAST AREA. AN
ARCIIC COLD FRONT WILL SLIDE SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...
BRINGING BITTERLY COLD AIR FOR EARLY THIS WEEK. AN UPPER LEVEL
SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY
MORNING...BRINGING SNOW. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE
FORECAST FOR MUCH OF THE AREA BY LATE MONDAY MORNING...ESPECIALLY
FROM NORTHEAST WYOMING...THROUGH THE BLACK HILLS AREA...AND ACROSS
SOUTHWEST SOUTH DAKOTA. PATCHY BLOWING SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE
PLAINS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

ARCITC AIR WILL BE IN PLACE OVER THE REGION EARLY THIS WEEK...WITH
HIGHS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY AND NIGHTTIME LOWS
BELOW ZERO. WIND CHILL VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 10 BELOW TO
30 BELOW ZERO EACH DAY.
