THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT HEAVY WET SNOW TO SOUTHERN COLORADO FRIDAY
WILL MOVE TO WESTERN KANSAS TONIGHT, KEEPING LOW LEVEL MOISTURE OVER A LARGE
PART OF THE STATE. PERIODS OF RAIN AND SNOW ARE EXPECTED, ESPECIALLY OVER THE
EASTERN MOUNTAINS AND PLAINS, ALTHOUGH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD BE
LIGHT.

A NEW AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE TO MOVE TO NEAR FOUR CORNERS OVER THE
WEEKEND, KEEPING THE POSSIBILITY OF PRECIPITATION IN THE PICTURE THROUGH EARLY
NEXT WEEK. MORE MODERATE TO HEAVY WET SNOW IS POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGHER
MOUNTAINS. TEMPERATURES WILL STAY WELL BELOW AVERAGE.
