.Summary...
The month finished half a degree above average. Up until a few
days ago, the month as a whole was well above average in terms
of temperatures. However, very cold weather during the last eight
days of the month brought that down significantly.

Rainfall was above average for the first month since August. Most of
the rain fell between the 16th and 23rd. It was the wettest December
in two years.

For the first time in two years, no snow fell during the month.

The average high temperature was the warmest since 2015. However,
the average low and monthly temperatures were the coolest since
2013.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on 16 days, average on two
days, and below average on 13 days.
