...Data for Pine Bluff for December 2017...

.Summary...
Up until a few days ago, temperatures for December 2017 were running
above average thanks to anomalously warm weather during the first
five days of the month and around mid-month. However, that all
changed in the last eight days of the month, when readings were as
much as 10 to near 20 degrees below average. As a result, the month
as a whole finished a little over half a degree below the 30-year
average.

What deficit existed during the fall months quickly diminished
around mid-month. In fact, nearly 90 percent of this month`s rain
fell during the eight-day period from the 16th through the 23rd.
This made it the wettest December in six years.

For the first time in four years, snow fell during the month of
December, but it was just a trace.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the coolest since 2014. The average
low temperature was the coolest since 2010. The average monthly
