Synopsis for Baffin Bay to Rio Grande out 60 nm-
706 PM CDT Thu Jun 22 2017

.SYNOPSIS...The difference between ridge of high pressure building westward
into the eastern and central Gulf with trough of low pressure
across west Texas will return gusty south winds and hazardous
seas to the Gulf waters overnight and Friday and Laguna Madre
Friday. The ridge will gradually build into the western Gulf
Friday night and Saturday with steadily diminishing winds and
gradually subsiding seas. A stronger ridge of high pressure will
build from the southern Plains into the southeast U.S. Sunday and
Monday as a front dissipates along the northern Gulf coast.
Meanwhile, weak ridge of high pressure will stretch across the
entire Gulf with generally light to moderate winds and seas
Sunday through Tuesday. Increasing moisture will enhance shower
and thunderstorm chances especially Sunday through Tuesday.
