Florida Bay...Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to
south of Dry Tortugas...and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico...including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height...which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas
440 PM EST Tue Jan 23 2018

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure cell extending from the western North
Atlantic to southern Florida will shift eastward from this evening
through early Wednesday. Freshening breezes and building seas are
expected Wednesday through Thursday in response to another
intensifying high pressure system over the southern United States.
This system will expand eastward late Wednesday, reaching just
offshore of South Carolina Thursday.

The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream as of
January 23, 2018...

41 NM South of Dry Tortugas Light...on Loggerhead Key.
35 NM South of Cosgrove Shoal Light...off the Marquesas Keys.
36 NM South of Sand Key Light...off Key West.
46 NM South of Looe Key...off Big Pine Key.
 9 NM South of Sombrero Key Light...off Marathon.
 1 NM Southeast of Alligator Reef Light...off Islamorada.
 1 NM Southeast of Molasses Reef Light...off Key Largo.
 1 NM East of Carysfort Reef Light...off Ocean Reef.
