The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Quay County in east central New Mexico...
  Northern Curry County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 730 PM MDT.

* At 523 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms stretching from near House northeastward to
  Wheatland. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding in the
  advisory area, including Blanco Creek. Up to 1.5 inches of rain
  has fallen in the last hour on already wet soils.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Grady, House, Ragland, Broadview, Wheatland, Bellview, Forrest and
  Mcalister.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remember, ditches are deadly. A gentle flow of water can become a
raging torrent in a matter of minutes.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.
