NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WAKEFIELD, VA

For the Lower James Basin...including Bremo Bluff...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please use extreme caution if venturing near riverbanks. Move to
higher ground immediately should rising water threaten your safety.

...The Flood Warning has been extended until Saturday morning...The
Flood Warning continues for
  The James River At Bremo Bluff
* until Saturday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 01:30 PM Friday the stage was 18.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 19.7 feet by this
  evening. The river will fall below flood stage early tomorrow
  morning.
* At 19.0 feet...Flood stage -- minor flooding begins
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 19.2 feet on
Sep 10 2004.
