...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM MST
FOR CENTRAL GILA COUNTY...

AT 635 PM MST...STORM ACTIVITY HAS WANED OVER THE ADVISORY
AREA...BUT NOT BEFORE DROPPING A RADAR ESTIMATED TWO TO TWO AND HALF
INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER THE MOUNTAIN TERRAIN SOUTH OF THE APACHE
TRAIL IN THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS. RUNOFF MOVING THROUGH AREA
DRAINAGES ON ITS WAY TOWARDS THE EAST END OF ROOSEVELT LAKE WILL
CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. NEIGHBORHOODS AND LOW-
WATER CROSSINGS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ONES IN THE
PINTO...CAMPAIGN AND WILDCAT WASHES ARE SUSCEPTIBLE.

THIS FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF CENTRAL GILA
COUNTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.
