Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
302 PM EDT Fri Apr 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will remain anchored off the
Southeastern US coast through Sunday, as a warm and humid
air mass circulates north over the forecast area.

This pattern will promote generally fair dispersion both
tonight and Saturday night. Weak low-level mixing will minimize
any fog development late tonight through early Saturday morning.

Surface winds Saturday will be from the south around 5 mph
after daybreak, then increase to 5 to 10 mph by late morning.
Transport winds will be south at 10 to 15 mph from late morning
through the afternoon. Relative humidities will drop into the
40 to 45 percent range.
