Dry and warm conditions are expected through the forecast period.
A fire weather watch is in effect late for elevated to near critical
fire weather conditions Monday morning through Monday afternoon
across Yuma county Colorado, Cheyenne county Kansas, and Dundy county
Nebraska. Relative humidity values will drop into the single digits
as gusty west to northwest winds develop on the back side of a
surface trough moving through the forecast area Monday afternoon.
