Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
324 AM CDT Mon Apr 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A slow moving upper low will depart Alabama into Georgia today
and then northeast through the Carolinas on Tuesday. The low will
bring low cloudiness and patchy drizzle or light rain this morning.
The sky will slowly clear tonight with patchy fog possible as a
result. Warmer air will return beginning Tuesday with light flow
and a high pressure ridge in the region. On Wednesday, the ridge
will shift east with south to southwest flow developing and very
warm temperatures. Fair smoke dispersion is anticipated today
and generally poor to fair smoke dispersion is expected on
Wednesday. A fast moving cold front will arrive by Thursday morning
bringing a line of showers and thunderstorms. Chances of thunderstorms
will exist on Friday as the front lifts back north as a warm front.
Very warm daytime temperatures are forecast from Friday into Sunday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog will accompany
drizzle and low clouds this morning. After the sky clears tonight,
patchy radiation fog is expected to develop.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag conditions are not
anticipated for the next several days.
