Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
225 PM CDT Sun Sep 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Dry and warm weather conditions are expected tonight through
Tuesday with no mentions for precipitation in the forecast at
this time. A slightly drier air mass will be moving into the
area from the east tomorrow through Tuesday with dew point
temperatures and relative humidity values falling a little each
day. However, relative humidity values should remain generally
above about 40 percent. Winds will generally be light easterly
tonight through Monday, then gradually switching from the north
on Tuesday. A few minor gusts could occur early in the morning on
Monday with the start of deeper mixing around 9-10 AM, but speeds
would generally only be around 10 mph.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is expected to
develop once again tonight, with areas of fog mainly in the usual
valley locations of northeastern Alabama. The fog could become dense
in some spots especially in Jackson County.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag conditions are not
anticipated at this time.
