FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
250 PM CDT MON AUG 3 2015

.DISCUSSION...
ANOTHER COUPLE OF DRY DAYS ARE EXPECTED...BEFORE RAIN CHANCES
RETURN ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA FOR THE MID AND LATTER HALF OF
THIS WEEK. A BROAD AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE CONTROLLING THE GENERAL
WEATHER SITUATION WILL MOVE EAST OF THE REGION DURING TONIGHT
AND ON TUESDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN WINDS BECOMING SOUTHERLY...
WHICH WILL BRING INCREASING AMOUNTS OF LOWER LEVEL MOISTURE TO
THE REGION. THIS MOISTURE...ALONG WITH THE APPROACH OF UPPER
LEVEL SYSTEMS AND A FRONTAL BOUNDARY...WILL RETURN RAIN CHANCES
FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK.

THE MOISTURE RETURN WILL RESULT IN SLIGHTLY HIGHER MID
AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES...INTO THE MID/UPPER 30S
PERCENT RANGE ON TUESDAY...AND IN THE 40S PERCENT RANGE FOR
THE MIDWEEK. GENERALLY GOOD TO GOOD SMOKE DISPERSION RATES
ARE FORECAST FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.
