Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
212 PM CDT Tue Jul 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will continue this
afternoon and taper off after sunset. Similar conditions are
expected on Wednesday and storms will taper off Wednesday night.
A frontal boundary will approach from the north on Thursday so
scattered thunderstorms will be possible Thursday through Thursday
night with the highest coverage expected on Friday. Winds will be
light and variable and become more steady out of the southwest,
around 5 MPH on Thursday. The front moves through Friday with
winds shifting to the northwest by Friday evening.

Mixing heights will rise quickly each morning with daytime
heating. Minimum RH values will remain above 50 percent. We won`t
see many RH values lower than that through the week even behind
the cold front. Patchy fog is possible each night in areas that
received rain, especially in valleys and along rivers and lakes.

Red Flag conditions are not expected in the near future.
