Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
409 AM CST Sat Dec 16 2017

.DISCUSSION...

The primary concern today will be low afternoon RH values, but
light wind will mitigate fire weather danger concerns. Otherwise,
a big change in the weather pattern is expected to take place this
weekend. The chilly, dry weather air mass in place will moisten
up ahead of an approaching weather disturbance as go into tonight.
Much higher RH values can be expected Sunday with showers moving
from west to east across the forecast area. Thereafter, rain chances
will remain high through early to mid week. Fog is not expected
to be a concern this weekend, but a strong near-surface inversion
will be in place early this morning.
