FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
559 AM EDT THU OCT 23 2014

.DISCUSSION...AN AREA OF LOW LEVEL CLOUDS CONTINUES TO PLAGUE MUCH
OF EASTERN KY AS A RESULT OF WRAP AROUND MOISTURE ALONG THE BACKSIDE
OF A STRONG LOW CURRENTLY LOCATED OFF THE ATLANTIC COAST. THIS CLOUD
COVER IS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF DISSIPATION...AND SHOULD CONTINUE TO
DO SO INTO THE DAYTIME HOURS AS DRY AIR AND MIXING ENSUES. HIGH
PRESSURE WILL THEN BE THE MAIN FOCUS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. DRY
CONDITIONS...LIGHT WINDS...AND A WARMING TREND FOR TEMPERATURES...ARE
ALL TO BE EXPECTED AS WE HEAD INTO THE WEEKEND.
