Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
412 PM EST Sat Nov 18 2017

...Strong and Gusty Winds To Continue Through This Evening...

.DISCUSSION...Gusty south to southwest winds will continue late
this afternoon and evening ahead of a strong cold front. Gusts up
to 40-45 mph will be possible at times, before diminishing behind
the front later this evening and early tonight as they veer west
to northwesterly. Most locations will receive between one half to
three quarters of an inch of rain through tonight. Much colder air will
move into eastern Kentucky tonight, with temperatures struggling to reach
40 degrees Sunday afternoon. Drier weather will return for the upcoming
week as warming temperatures lead to minimum relative humidity values in
the 30s Monday afternoon.
