Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
441 AM CST Wed Dec 13 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Gusty northwesterly winds are expected today across western and
north central Nebraska. Wind gusts may reach 35 to 45 MPH this
afternoon. Much cooler temperatures are expected Thursday with an
increased threat for light snow over north central and portions of
central Nebraska. Temperatures will be warmer on Friday with highs
in the 50s. Minimum relative humidity may reach around 20 percent
in far southwestern Nebraska, however relatively low wind speeds
around 10 MPH in the afternoon will mitigate any fire weather
concerns Friday.
