Fire Weather Planning Forecast For West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
237 PM CDT Mon Aug 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low this week. Elevated moisture
will keep min RHs 25% and greater each day, with very good/excellent
nocturnal recovery. 20ft winds are expected to generally range from
10 to 15 mph. Near normal temperatures through midweek are expected
to drop below normal thereafter due to a cold front, which will
bring the next opportunity for widespread rainfall beginning Tuesday
night. Until then, rain/thunderstorm chances are best across the
higher terrain and adjacent plains of SE NM and SW TX.
