Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
233 PM PDT Sun May 12 2024

.DISCUSSION...Our weather pattern for the next week will continue
to be more typical for mid-June than mid-May. There will be a
slight chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms in northern
California and south central Oregon today. Slight cooling with a
stable air mass follows for Monday, then another ridge will bring
a new warming and drying trend through mid-week along with
offshore afternoon winds and strong overnight inversions. The
next trough is likely to approach on Friday, bringing temperatures
slightly down as well as a small possibility of showers and
thunderstorms late in the week.
