FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
524 AM EDT Mon Sep 25 2017

...UNSEASONABLY WARM AND HUMID TO BEGIN THE WORK WEEK, THEN A
COOLING TREND CAN BE EXPECTED...

.DISCUSSION: Unseasonably warm and humid conditions will continue
through Today. Some record highs may be set as afternoon
temperatures rise into the 80s across mainly the east half of
Upper Michigan. Conditions will be cooler near Lake Michigan and
Lake Huron and over the west half where rain showers and cloud
cover steadily increases. A cold front, slowly moving across the
Upper Michigan late today into Tuesday, will then bring an
increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms eastward across the
rest of the area. Temperatures will fall back to near or below
normal on Wednesday and remain below normal through Friday with
intermittent light rain chances for the end of the work week.
