...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 PM PDT THIS
EVENING FOR FIRE 673, 674, 677, 682, 684, 685, 686, 687, and 101.

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will move through the region this afternoon and will
exit to the east by sunset. Winds will increase out of the southwest
late in the morning...with the winds peaking between 1300-1700. The
winds will decrease after sunset, but remain elevated through the
night. There will also be a chance for rain and mountain snow. The
snow level will be 4500-5000 feet. Cool and unsettled weather will
continue through the weekend as another deep upper level low
settles into the region. Expect widespread rain and snow with
the snow level dropping to the valley floors by Saturday.
