Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
256 PM MDT Thu Mar 30 2017

.Discussion...

An approaching storm system will bring widespread precipitation
to the area Friday and Saturday. Significant snowfall is expected
over many of the mountain areas. At this time, it looks like the
most significant snow impacts will occur over Pikes Peak, Teller
county, the higher elevations of the Sangre de Cristo and Wet
mountains and over northern El Paso county. Lower elevations,
mainly below about 5500 feet will mostly see rain.

This system system will move away from the area early Sunday.
Then another system will move across the region on Tuesday,
bringing another chance of precipitation to the area, although
this system will not be as significant and will be faster moving.

Friday afternoon, most locations will have good or better smoke
dispersion. On Saturday afternoon, most locations should have
good smoke dispersion.
