FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
406 PM CST THU FEB 26 2015

RED FLAG...NONE.

.DISCUSSION...
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TONIGHT WITH
NORTHERLY WINDS AND COLD TEMPERATURES CONTINUING ACROSS THE
REGION. WIND CHILL VALUES FRIDAY MORNING COULD BE JUST BELOW ZERO
DEGREES TO THE LOW TEENS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH. A MID LEVEL
DISTURBANCE IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION FRIDAY WHICH
COULD DEVELOP SOME LIGHT SNOW FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT. AT THIS
TIME SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS LOOK TO BE LESS THAN ONE INCH ACROSS
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA TO NEAR TRACE AMOUNTS OVER FAR NORTHEAST
OKLAHOMA. ADDITIONAL PRECIPITATION CHANCES DEVELOP THROUGH THE
WEEKEND WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF WINTRY WEATHER SATURDAY CHANGING
OVER TO RAIN SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY. FIRE WEATHER DANGERS
THIS EVENING LOOKS TO BE LIMITED FROM THE BREEZY NORTHERLY WINDS
AND SHOULD BE ON THE LOW SIDE FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY WITH THE
CHANCES OF PRECIPITATION.
