...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

NORTHWEST UPPER-LEVEL FLOW AND A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE IN THE
EASTERN PACIFIC WILL KEEP THE AREA DRY AND SLIGHTLY WARMER THAN
AVERAGE EARLY THIS WEEK. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY LEADING TO BREEZY CONDITIONS IN THE
COLORADO RIVER VALLEY WEDNESDAY AND THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES OF THE
SEASON SO FAR ACROSS THE REGION THURSDAY MORNING.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND THROUGH THE WESTERN STATES WILL
BRING STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH
TUESDAY WITH DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER...INCREASING HUMIDITIES
SPREADING INLAND...AND WITH GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS. WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WILL BRING
LOWER INLAND HUMIDITIES...WARMING...AND GUSTY NORTHEAST TO EAST
WINDS NEAR THE COASTAL FOOTHILLS AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS.
TOWARDS NEXT WEEKEND...ANOTHER TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING
NEAR THE WEST COAST WILL BRING COOLING AND INCREASING HUMIDITIES
WITH GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

DRY NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT WILL SET UP ACROSS THE AREA TODAY INTO
MIDWEEK; NO PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED HOWEVER THERE WILL BE PERIODS
OF HIGH CLOUDS FOR PARTLY CLOUDS SKIES AT TIMES. HIGH TEMPERATURES
WILL HOVER NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS TODAY AND TUESDAY AND WINDS WILL BE
ON THE LIGHT SIDE EACH DAY. HUMIDITIES WILL BE ELEVATED ESPECIALLY
TUESDAY WHEN AN INFLUX OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE WILL RAISE MINIMUM RH
VALUES INTO THE 30 TO 40 PERCENT BALLPARK ACROSS MUCH OF THE DESERT.
