...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MAINLY THE
SIERRA AND SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN THROUGH THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.
OTHERWISE...TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR NORMAL THIS WEEKEND BEFORE
CLIMBING ABOVE NORMAL NEXT WEEK. WIDESPREAD TRIPLE DIGIT
TEMPERATURES WILL BE POSSIBLE BELOW 3500 FOOT ELEVATIONS FROM
WEDNESDAY ONWARD.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND THROUGH SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA WILL BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS TO THE MOUNTAINS
THIS AFTERNOON AND A SLIGHT THUNDERSTORMS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND UPPER
DESERTS FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SLIGHTLY BELOW SEASONAL HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE FOR INLAND AREAS THIS WEEKEND WITH THE
MARINE LAYER AND WEAK ONSHORE FLOW KEEPING HUMIDITIES HIGHER FOR
COASTAL AND VALLEY AREAS. FOR MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...HIGH
PRESSURE ALOFT OVER CALIFORNIA WILL STRENGTHEN BRINGING INLAND
WARMING AND A GRADUALLY SHALLOWER MARINE LAYER. HIGH PRESSURE MAY
BEGIN TO WEAKEN TOWARD THE END OF NEXT WEEK WITH SLOW INLAND COOLING
FOR NEXT WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES TODAY WITH SOME MINOR AFTERNOON AND
EVENING BREEZINESS FAVORING SOUTHERLY DIRECTIONS...MOST NOTICEABLY
OVER THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY...BUT OTHERWISE FAMILIAR SUMMER
WIND PATTERNS. SLIGHTLY COOLER SUNDAY WITH SIMILAR WIND
PATTERNS...THOUGH SLIGHTLY WEAKER OVER SOUTHWEST ARIZONA AND
SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA. MINIMUM HUMIDITIES WILL REMAIN BELOW 10
PERCENT OVER THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA...15-20
PERCENT NEAR AND WEST OF THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY. FAIR TO
GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERY.
