...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

GUSTY NORTH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TODAY...ESPECIALLY DOWN THE COLORADO
RIVER VALLEY. LOCALLY BREEZY CONDITIONS MAY PERSIST INTO SUNDAY.
OTHERWISE...STRENGTHENING HIGH PRESSURE WILL LEAD TO TEMPERATURES
WARMING WELL ABOVE NORMAL OVER THE WEEKEND. A STORM WILL AFFECT THE
AREA WITH RAIN AND HIGH ELEVATION SNOW MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. AFTER A
BRIEF BREAK WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY THERE MAY BE ANOTHER CHANCE OF
PRECIPITATION THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT OVER CALIFORNIA WILL BRING WARMER WEATHER
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL
BRING PERIODS OF STRONG GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS INTO THIS EVENING...
BECOMING LESS WIDESPREAD AND DECREASING INTO SUNDAY. THE STRONG
WINDS COMBINED WITH LOW INLAND HUMIDITIES WILL CAUSE NEAR CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS INTO SUNDAY. FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY...A WEAK
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE SOUTHWEST WILL BRING A CHANCE OF
SHOWERS. A SECOND WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE SOUTHWEST COULD
BRING ANOTHER CHANCE OF SHOWERS FOR LATE THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SURGING INTO THE REGION FROM THE NORTH BEHIND
AN EXITING DRY WEATHER DISTURBANCE WILL BRING GUSTY EASTERLY WINDS
TODAY. AFTERNOON WIND GUSTS WILL APPROACH 25 MPH AT TIMES. WARMER
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND WITH LOWER DESERT READINGS
BACK INTO THE 70S. MINIMUM HUMIDITIES IN THE TEENS WILL AFFECT THE
LOWER DESERTS BOTH DAYS DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
