...SHOWERY AND WINDY THROUGH THIS EVENING, DRY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...

.DISCUSSION...Northwest winds will gust to 30 mph or more this
afternoon, with some snow showers around. Showers should end abruptly
after sunset, but winds will diminish only slowly this evening and
overnight, and will still be from the northwest 8 to 12 mph on Friday.
Models have the next system approaching Saturday afternoon with
increasing clouds. Any precipitation should hold off until at least
early Sunday, and some models don`t bring rain to the area until late
Sunday afternoon. Probably best chance for rain will be late Sunday
into early Monday.  Northwest winds will pick up again Monday
afternoon again after that system goes by, but winds do not look
anywhere near as strong as with the current system.
