.DISCUSSION...
THE MARINE LAYER IS 1200 FEET DEEP ALONG THE COAST AND OVER THE BAY
AREA. ONSHORE WINDS ARE MAINLY LIGHT WITH AREA OBSERVATIONS SHOWING
WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 5 TO 9 MPH IN THE AREA NEAR THE FIRE. THERE
ARE LOW CLOUDS ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COASTLINE AS WELL AS SOME HIGH
CLOUDS MOVING IN FROM THE WEST. WE DO NOT EXPECT MUCH IF ANY LOW
CLOUDINESS REACHING THE BURN AREA OVERNIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING.
COOLING WILL BE GRADUAL THROUGH THE EVENING WITH SOME RECOVERY IN
HUMIDITY OVERNIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL CONTINUE TO COVER THE
BAY AREA TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT AS WELL AS SATURDAY. DRY
WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR THE PERIOD.
