...INCREASING RAIN LATE FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...The next weather system will impact the area
beginning Friday afternoon. Initially, snow levels will be 500
to 1000 feet, but rise to near 1500 feet by early Saturday
morning. The unseasonably cool pattern continues through the
weekend with another system dropping south into Northwest
Oregon Sunday.

.FRIDAY...

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy in the morning then
                    increasing clouds. A chance of rain or
                    snow in the afternoon.
Chance of pcpn......50 percent.
Max temperature.....37-41.
Min humidity........70-80 percent.
Surface winds.......South to Southwest 4 to 8 mph, increasing
                    6 to 10 mph with gusts to 18 mph in the
                    afternoon.
Rainfall amount.....Up to 0.10 inches.
Snowfall amount.....Possibly up to an inch above 750 feet.
Snow level..........500 to 1000 feet.
Ceiling (KFt).......Around 9000 feet at 1000 then lowering
                    to 3000 feet by 1500.
Visibility..........Greater than 6 miles, but possibly 3-5 miles
                    in precipitation late afternoon.

.FRIDAY NIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy. Rain or Snow in the evening, then rain
                    after midnight.
Chance of pcpn......80 percent.
Min temperature.....34-37.
Max humidity........90-100 percent.
Surface winds.......South 6 to 10 mph with gusts to 18
                    mph, increasing to Southwest 7 to 12 mph
                    with gusts to 25 mph overnight.
Rainfall amount.....0.25 to 0.40 inches.

Snow level..........Rising to around 1500 feet.
