This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected through 11 PM CDT
today due to low relative humidity and gusty west winds between
15 to 25 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms will be possible Friday afternoon and evening
across mainly the Oklahoma Panhandle and the northeast corner of
the Texas Panhandle. Thunderstorms will once again be possible
across the area, favoring the northwestern half of the Panhandles,
Saturday afternoon and evening. A few of these storms may be
strong to marginally severe with hail near one inch and winds to
around 60 MPH being possible.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected on Friday across the
southwest half of the Combined Panhandles and the far southern
Texas Panhandle on Saturday.

Thunderstorms will be possible again Monday through Wednesday.
The probability for widespread hazardous weather during this time
is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Limited spotter activation may be needed on Saturday.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated fire weather conditions today, tomorrow and Saturday.
