This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central New York.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Another January thaw will continue into early next week. The warmest
day is expected Monday, with periods of rain also expected Monday
through Tuesday as a pair of frontal boundaries cross our region.
The combination of the rain and snowmelt will result in an elevated
risk of localized ice jam flooding from Monday night into Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central New York.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A warm front will lift across the area on Monday, bringing a period
of precipitation Monday into Monday evening. Northeasterly flow will
likely keep sub-freezing temperatures locked in across portions of
the St. Lawrence and Black River valleys, resulting in a risk for
sleet and freezing rain, with ice accumulations in excess of a tenth
of an inch possible during this period.

Another January thaw will continue into early next week, with the
warmest period being Monday night into Tuesday. In addition, periods
of rain are expected Monday night through Tuesday as a pair of
frontal boundaries cross our region. The combination of the rain and
snowmelt will result in an elevated risk of minor flooding and ice
jam flooding from Monday into Tuesday
