This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western Upper
Michigan and central Upper Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are possible through early this evening.
Very heavy rainfall will accompany thunderstorms, and the heavy
rain may lead to ponding of water in low-lying areas and on roads
with poor drainage.

There is a high swim risk for the Lake Michigan beaches of
Schoolcraft County through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A high swim risk is expected for the Lake Superior beaches of
Marquette County and Alger County Friday.

Thunderstorms are possible Sunday over western Upper Michigan and
then across the area Sunday night through Monday night.

Spotters are encouraged to report any significant rainfall and
any observed ponding of water or significant rises of water levels
in streams. The public may also submit reports to the National
Weather Service in Marquette via phone, on our website, or through
Facebook or Twitter.

Thunderstorms are possible across central and eastern Lake
Superior this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorms are possible over the west half of Lake Superior
Sunday afternoon and then across Lake Superior Sunday night into
Monday evening.
