This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected both Thursday and Friday
afternoon and evening as a cold front moves slowly through the area.
A few strong to severe thunderstorms can be expected, with a greater
threat for such Friday as compared to Thursday. Additional strong to
severe thunderstorms may also occur on Friday. The main threat from
any severe storms will be damaging wind gusts.

Beyond Friday, no widespread hazardous weather is expected.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
