THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND PORTIONS OF THE
MISSOURI OZARKS LATE THIS EVENING AND THROUGH TONIGHT. SOME OF THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS
AND LARGE HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS.

RESIDUAL FLOODING OF A FEW CREEKS AND RIVERS WILL CONTINUE
TONIGHT OVER PARTS OF WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI INTO
SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH THURSDAY
WITH MORE WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS THEN EXPECTED LATE THIS WEEK.

THERE IS A LIMITED RISK FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND WEDNESDAY EVENING. THE PRIMARY SEVERE
HAZARD WOULD BE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS. THERE IS THEN A
LIMITED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS AGAIN ON THURSDAY...
MAINLY ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

THERE WILL ALSO BE A LIMITED RISK FOR FLOODING FROM FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY WITH MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED.

  SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED IN THE NEXT SIX HOURS FOR
  OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN MISSOURI.
