...LOCALLY HIGHER WINDS AND ELEVATED SEAS VICINITY OF THE
GULFSTREAM OVER THE OUTER CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA WATERS THIS
MORNING...

SOUTHWEST WINDS HAVE BEEN LOCALLY HIGHER WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF
15 TO 20 KNOTS AND GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS VICINITY OF THE GULFSTREAM
OVER THE OUTER CENTRAL WATERS WHERE SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURES ARE
IN THE 70S. THIS IS PRODUCING SEAS OF 5 TO 6 FEET AT THE DIAMOND
SHOALS BUOY.

THESE LOCALLY HIGHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH
LATE MORNING, THEN WINDS ARE FORECAST TO DIMINISH SLIGHTLY TO 10
TO 15 KNOTS WITH SEAS SUBSIDING TO 4 TO 5 FEET.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED TO EXPECT LOCALLY HIGHER WINDS AND SEAS
VICINITY OF THE GULFSTREAM THIS MORNING AND TO BE PREPARED FOR
LOW END SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY WINDS AND SEAS IF TRAVELING OVER THE
OUTER CENTRAL WATERS.
