AT 1225 AM AST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR DETECTED SHOWERS AND AREAS
OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE ACROSS THE
SURROUNDING COASTAL WATERS. THIS ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT
THE REGIONAL WATERS OVERNIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY MORNING. SOME OF
THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL...
STRONG WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...AS WELL AS WATERSPOUTS AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE WEST NORTHWEST AROUND 15 KNOTS.

AT LEAST UNTIL 8 AM AST...MARINERS CAN EXPECT HEAVY RAIN...STRONG
GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HIGHER WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES WITH
THESE THUNDERSTORMS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY
UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

FREQUENT AND INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH SOME STORMS. IF
CAUGHT ON THE OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY
FROM UNGROUNDED METAL OBJECTS.
